As an Associate University Recruiter, your job is all about attracting the best and brightest Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and other clinical students from Colleges and Universities across the country. You will work in lockstep with the broader recruiting team to deliver on early talent recruiting strategies, execute campus recruitment and branding events, and ensure a seamless candidate experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Building Campus Connections: You’ll team up with our Student Programs squad to build strong relationships with universities, professors, and student groups. You'll be the friendly face of Upstream, helping us get on student radars as an employer of choice.
  • Event Maestro: Think of yourself as the event planner extraordinaire! From career fairs to information sessions, you'll organize, execute, and attend events that showcase why Upstream is THE place to kick-start a career. You’ll keep track of all the details and budget items like a pro.
  • Team Player: Collaboration is key! You'll work hand-in-hand with our awesome Clinicians and University Liaisons to ace our local event game and level up our recruitment strategies.
  • Talent Scouting: Channel your inner detective to find potential candidates through social media, job boards, and beyond. Build a pipeline of talent that'll make our national recruiting efforts shine!
  • Keeping the Engine Running Smoothly: Stay on top of data management and keep track of all the important campus stats. It's like being the organizer-in-chief.
  • Innovation Station: Work closely with our recruiting squad, student programs team, and supportive clinicians to come up with fresh, engaging ways to attract top student talent.

What You Need to Bring:

  • A degree (Bachelor’s or Associate’s)
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in event management and/or recruiting, preferably in campus recruitment
  • Flexibility to travel around 75% during peak recruiting seasons
  • Awesome communication skills (you’ll be chatting with a lot of cool folks)
  • Superb organizational skills and attention to detail (juggling projects is your jam)
  • Team player mentality with a heavy dash of independence
  • Professionalism and a knack for creating an outstanding candidate experience
  • A love for learning and growing (we're all about that growth mindset!) and willingness to be coached
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and be willingness to learn new software applications
  • Legal right to work in the US without sponsorship

Bonus Points for:

  • Ability to navigate an applicant tracking systems (ATS/ CRM) and recruitment software (familiarity with the Greenhouse system is a plus)
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry - physical therapy or otherwise
  • Keeping your finger on the pulse of current campus recruiting trends
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter functionality
  • Location close to a central airport. This position is remote, but we want to make travel as easy as possible!

  • In accordance with the applicable state laws, rules and regulations, the licensed athletic trainer provides athletic training services to local schools, community events and or organized sports.
  • Provides athletic training services in accordance with established contracts.
  • Possible clinical responsibilities based on location.
  • Works closely and collaboratively with all members of the sports medicine team.
  • Works closely and collaboratively with supervising / team physicians.
  • Provides sports medicine consultations to coaches, athletes, parents and others.
  • Conducts athletic training / sports medicine workshops, as requested.
  • Maintains daily treatment records and documentation on patients.
  • Effectively communicates with all members of the sports medicine team, patients, family members and coaches.

 

Qualifications:

  • Current athletic training license or eligible in state of position.
  • Current certification by and in good standing with the Board of Certification.
  • Demonstrates competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in athletic training.
  • CPR Certified
  • Strong decision and problem solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing and the ability to interface successfully with various individuals.
  • Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent organizational and listening skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
